Space of Resistance | Watch and comment

Luis Gustavo Ferraz, from Matrioska Filmes is the director of this special video made exclusively for PIPA. He says about the video:
“In the 20th century, few countries have experienced situations as dramatic as Poland. Due, mainly, to the Second World War and the communist period, reconstruction seems to have become a constant there. Today, the Polish art scene is rich in galleries that are helping young people to play this process in culture. One is Lokal_30, which also faces difficulties as well known here in Brazil. The narrators of the story are Zuzanna Janin and Agnieszka Rayzacher, founders of the gallery.”

It is a video that make us think about the role of art in the history.

Zuzana, Agnieszka and Lokal_30 strive to promote Polish Art abroad, just like PIPA does with Brazilian Art. Hopefully all that will result in great fulfilled lives for everyone. Poland has been a great example in how civil society can work and “use” Art in that regard. Congratulations Zuzana, Agnieszka! And thank Tim Berners Lee for the WWW as most of us know it, that accelerates all that so much.

It’s very nice to see how the work of a few extraordinary people with the right objectives can contribute to society, as Zuzanna and Agnienzka show us in this short video. It’s inspiring to see PIPA following the same way.
