“Sorria!”, group show that discusses contemporary painting from the point of view of 11 artists – amongst them, PIPA Prize 2016 Finalist Gustavo Speridião – reaches its end this Saturday, July 1st, at Jacaranda, in Villa Aymoré. There is, however, no reason for tears: the end of exhibition also brings an open talk with eight of the participating artists, followed by the exhibition of a mini-documentary about artists Marcos Chaves and Alice Miceli, PIPA Prize 2014 winner.
Produced by Arte1 channel, the series “Olhar” proposes a plunge in the poetic universe of Brazilian contemporary artists. The documentary presents the influences, journeys and creative processes of the two artists, inviting the spectators into their houses and studios. After the exhibition, Miceli and Chaves participate in a debate with the directors of the film, Isis Mello e Anna Costa e Silva.
