About the artist

Artist Ph.D. in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and the School of Visual Arts of Parque Lage.
He was awarded the scholarship Iberê Camargo with an artist residency in 2001 at the London Print Studio. In 2008, he was a visiting artist at the University of Plymouth by the invitation of the Arts Council (UK).

Finalist of SESI Marcantonio Vilaça in 2011.
Pipa Prize nominee in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Among the recent group exhibitions that he has participated are: the 13th Istanbul Biennial, the 3rd Festival of Art and Technology Moscow, the 30th Bienal de São Paulo, “Travessias 2” – Galpão Bela Maré (Rio), “Projeto Obra Viva” – Parque Estoril (São Bernardo do Campo) “Projeto Cavalo” – Festival Multiplicidade, Oi Futuro (Rio de Janeiro), “The First 10 Years” – Instituto Tomie Ohtake (Sao Paulo), “Art in Brazil” (Europalia Festival – Brussels), “Panorama of Brazilian Art 2011 “(São Paulo),” Traces of Brazilianness “(Recife),”Convivências” (Porto Alegre) and the 7th Mercosul Biennial (Porto Alegre).
