About the artist

Master in visual poetics by ECA – USP under supervision of Claúdio Mubarac, is founder member of Associação Cultural Jatobá – AJA and of Atêlie Espaço Coringa, which between 1998 and 2009 produced group activities like: exhibition, publications, videos, classes, art exchange and reidencies.

Participated in many group exhibits: Trilhas do Desejo – Rumos Itaú Cultural, X Bienal de Santos (1st prize), Novas Gravuras – Cité Internationale des Arts /Paris –FR and Arte Contemporânea at Acervo Municipal – Centro Cultural S. Paulo. Participated in the Encontro Panamericano de Xilogravura in Trois Riviérès, Canadá and as a guest artist in the Atelier Engramme residency program in Québec.

Did solo exhibitions at Estação Pinacoteca – SP and at CCSP, is part of public heritages at Pinacoteca Municipal and Estado de SP, Casa do Olhar – Sto André and Secretaria Municipal de Cultura de Santos. Built a studia in Valongo, downtown Santos, where he develops his poetic work. Since 2008, coordinates Ateliê de Artes at Instituto Acaia, Vila Leopoldina, São Paulo.
