About the artist

She is a Brazilian Literature teacher. She has attended courses with Charles Watson, Paulo Sergio Duarte, Agnaldo Farias, Fernando Cochiarale, Luis Ernesto, among others.

In 2004, she was awarded with the FUNARTE prize “Projéteis de Arte Contemporânea”.
In 2006, she was awarded with Marcantônio Vilaça prize, in the same year she has taken part in the program Itau Rumos Artes Visuais.
Yet in 2006, she held a solo exhibition at Galeria Laura Marsiaj, Rio de Janeiro.

In 2007, she held a solo exhibition at Paço Imperial, in Rio de Janeiro. In 2009, she presented a solo exhibition at Galeria Virgílio, in São Paulo.

In 2011, she has participated in the group exhibitions “Pintura Reprojetada”, in Brasilia and “Gigante
pela própria natureza” at Institut Valencia d’Art Modern, in Valencia, Spain, with the curatorship by Wilson Lázaro At MHKA ( Antwerp), she is selected for the exhibition “The Street”, about Rio de Janeiro. She is currently presenting (June 2011)  a solo exhibition at the gallery Moura Marsiaj Arte Contemporânea, in São Paulo.

Her works will be shown in a group exhibition at Centro Cultural Marcantonio Vilaça, at the end of June 2011.

Her works are in many collections like Marcia Fadel, Frances Marinho, Olavo Monteiro de Carvalho, Gilberto Chateaubriand, Rose e Alfredo Setúbal, Mara e Marcio Fainzliber, Luiz Chrisóstomo, Museu Nacional de Brasília, Itaú Cultural, among others.

Represented by the galleries: Laura Marsiaj (RJ) e Moura Marsiaj (SP).
