About the artist
Fabio Morais is visual artist. His most recent solo exhibition was ”Palavras são Coisas”, 2013, Oficina Cultural Oswald de Andrade, São Paulo, Brazil.
He participated in group exhibitions such as “The life of others. Repetition and Survival” (Akbank Sanat, Istanbul, Turkey, 2013); “Passant pàgina. Also in the publishing field, has published texts and works in books and publications, in the newspaper Folha de São Paulo, in the magazines Bravo, Caderno video_brasil, Bólide, Recibo, among others, and is one of the editors of experimental translation magazine ¿Hay en Portugués?.
He is one of the organizers of artist publications fair Turnê (São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba).
On April 2013, he curated “Bacanas Books”, exhibition in which he showed his collection of artist’s books, in the editorial cluster by International Art Fair SP-Arte.
