2 new exhibitions at MAM-Rio

This Saturday, March 16th, two new exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, from 4pm to 7pm:

The acquisition of relevant works is one of the museum’s missions. With Prêmio Marcantonio Vilaça Funarte 2013, MAM-RJ managed to bring to its collection a significant group of works by four artists of different generations that are important for an understanding of Brazilian contemporary art.

The exhibition explores the opposition in art between the geometric, Mondrian-style, and “loose movement”, like the works by Lygia Clark and Hélio Oiticica;
