“Des/ligamento” | Tatiana Grinberg

(Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

Next Sunday, October 27, will be presented at Museu do Açude, at 12h, the installation by Tatiana Grinberg named “Des/ligamento”[Detachment]. The work occupies one of the plateaus of de historical gardens of the museum’s park. It is made of grass, potting soil, galvanized steel wire rope, iron armband, leather bands, recycled felt and nylon wire. The installation can be seen until March 11.

Tatiana Grinberg lives and works in Rio de Janeiro. The main question at her works is in the relationship between bodies and space. The works happens as fluxes, processes and experimentation. Build themselves as a contact’s net between bodies, objects, and ambience, through recognizable/unfamiliar situations. And in succession of potentiation /anesthetization of the sensible, time intricacies and spatial tension multiplications, search for a new corporeity. It interests here the interactions, migrations, occurred transformations, the exchanges, the scars.
