“Arte e Design” [“Art and Design”]

(São Paulo, Brazil)

The exhibition “Art and Design” includes works that are somehow linked to the design. Several works in the exhibition ironically subvert the use to which the objects were created, leading us to reflect on our way of living and thinking. Other works touch sensitivity through poetry, activate memories, fantasies and emotions. It shows that both design objects as works of art use visual language to express ideas and activate feelings.

Part of the program “Convivendo com Arte” [“Living with Art”}  the show has a participation of 20 Brazilian contemporary artists, including: Daniel Acosta, Rommulo Vieira Conceição, Camila Sposati, amongst others. It is curated by Rejane Cintrão.
