La maudite is a collectively run project created by two artists and a researcher/curator based in Paris and aiming to articulate art practices, curatorial practices and researches. With a workspace in the Belleville neighborhood, La maudite is a platform of artistic and multidisciplinary projects in different fields: visual arts, film, comics, sound experiences, performance, literature, among others. The activities will include curating exhibitions, film screenings, organizing conferences, seminars and other research activities in the intersection of critical theory.
Ana Luiza Dias Batista was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1978. In 2000 she graduated in fine arts at the University of São Paulo.
João Loureiro, born in 1972, has Masters degree in Visual Poetics by the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo – ECA/USP – in 2007 and Major in Fine Arts by Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation – FAAP – in 1995.
