“EXPO 1: Rio”

The exhibition is organized by MOMA PS1 in collaboration with Luiz Camillo Osorio. “EXPO 1: Rio” explores the ecological challenges in the context of economical and sociopolitical instability of the 21st century. The first edition of “EXPO 1” happend in New York, USA. The show in Rio de Janeiro approaches these global issues through the Brazilian context, with the participation of Brazilian artists whose works investigate urban and ecological problems. Some of the participating artists are: Claudia Andujar, Neuenschwander and Cao Guimares, Jonathas de Andrade, Jarbes Lopes and Thiago Rocha Pitta.
