Renato Pera participates in open studio project

(São Paulo, Brazil)

Renato Pera participates in the open studio “Cornélia de Portas Abertas” (Cornelia with Open Doors), to be held on 17th May at 4pm.

Since 2011, several artists have worked and are working in a 1932 residencial house that works as an open studio, in front of the Cornelia square, in the Lapa neighbourhood, São Paulo. On the 17th May, the current working group consisting of eight artists will open the house doors to share the experience results with the wide public.

The project was made with the intent of prommoting a space for artistic creation linked to the idea of coexistence, contamination and collaboration among the artists. It stems from the will and the need of developing visual research in non-institutional art spaces. This year the participating artists are: Adriana Affortunati, Célia Saito, Lia Nasser, Leandro Machanoscki, Mariana Coan, Renato Pera, Fernanda Figueiredo e Eduardo Mattos.
