This exhibition was conceived as a result of the workshop Contemporary Curatorial Practices: thoughts, processes and materializations, taught by curators Bernardo José de Souza and Michelle Sommer, between April and July 2014 at Largo das Artes.

Based on the curatorial proposal of “second nature” and always guided by horizontality in discussions and critical emancipation in the artistic field, a series of discussions, lectures and conversations with artists led to the construction of an art project that also includes performances, film screenings and publications, which will happen parallel to the exhibition during the months of July, August and September 2014.
