Group show with Camila Sposati, Ding Musa, Dirnei Prates, Mayana Redin, Reginaldo Pereira, Rommulo Conceição, Tony Camargo and Yuri Firmeza on view

(Porto Alegre, Brazil)

Camila Sposati, Ding Musa, Dirnei Prates, Mayana Redin, Reginaldo Pereira, Rommulo Conceição, Tony Camargo and Yuri Firmeza participate in the group show “Manifesto: Poder, desejo, intervenção” [“Manifest: Power, desire, intervention”], on view since 30th October at the Rio Grande do Sul Art Museum(MARGS).

Designed to be an art production experimenting platform through a political spaciousness and temporality, “Manifesto” aims at avoiding the recently established models that conceive artistic creation as something exclusively militant, without a particular message or density. The exhibition brings together artworks from the Museum collection as well as some institutions’ and recently made works. It is recurring in the Museum agenda and orbits around the Museum’s own collection, stemming historical artworks from the mid 1800s until contemporary times. “Manifesto” is curated by Márcio Tavares, Mercosul Museum director.
