Arte Clube Jacarandá prepare their first open action in group exhibition

Supported by ArtRio, the Arte Clube Jacarandá prepare their first exhibition open for public. “Espaço Art Contemporânea” [“Contemporary Art Space”] has works by Afonso Tostes, Arjan Martins, Cadu, Paulo Vivacqua, Raul Mourão and other seven artists. The exhibition begins today and will be on view through March 8th.

“Espaço Art Contemporânea” will be located on the second floor of a car dealership at Avenida Afrânio de Mello Franco, in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro neighborhood. The building will be demolished and give place to a new luxury residential condominium. The company responsable for the new building construction invited the members of Arte Clube Jacarandá to think this exhibition and show the interaction between their enterprises and contemporary artists works. This show brings together 12 artists, including Carlos Vergara, one of the main articulators of the Club and there are no curators, only the artworks by each one of the participating artists.

Artists in this show: Afonso Tostes, Arjan Martins, Ashogun, Cabelo, Cadu, Carlos Vergara, Everardo Miranda, Franklin Cassaro, Paulo Vivaqua , Raul Mourão, Tomás Ribas and Vicente de Mello.
