Watch | Interview with Daniela Name

Next friday, February 27th, we will announce the Nomination Committee Members for PIPA 2015. Annually, twenty to forty renewed professionals, Brazilians or foreigners, who personally work with Contemporary Art are invited by the Boars to take part in the Committee. Each one of them has the function to make up to three artists nominations qualified to run for PIPA Prize.

The Nomination Committee have to choose names that have a recent trajectory and be highlighted by the Art Circuit. They have to consider the relevancy of the prize as a parameter when selecting their nominations.

Nomination Committee invited members are renowned artists, art collectors, curators, professors, art critics and gallerists, who can’t nominate artists that are commercially represented by their gallery.

PIPA Prize’s coordination will invite the nominated artists and those who follow the requests and determinations of the Regulation during the stipulated time become participating artists on PIPA 2015.

In 2011, we produced series of exclusive interviews with members of the Nomination Committee of that edition. One of the interviewed was Daniela Name, curator, art critic, journalist and professor.Watch:
