PIPA 2015 nominees announcement happened from March 9th to 13th. The artists were selected by the Nominating Committee, since there are no enrollments for the prize.This year the 26 members of the Nominating Committee indicated 67 names from all around the country.
Only the nominated artists that sign the Term of Participation and accomplish all the requirements within the terms fixed, are considered Participating Artists and may run for the awards in its four the awards.
Some of the nominees had already signed the documents.
As we receive the nominees documents, we will update this page. Artists whose names are underlined (indicating link) have participated on PIPA previous editions, therefore have pages on our website. Click on the name of the artist to visit his/her profile page where you can find videos, pictures and texts about him/her.

They will run for the following awards:
● PIPA – Winner, elected by the Award Jury, will receive R$100,000. Part of this value (approximately 20%) will be directed to an artistic residency program at Residency Unlimited, in New York, for three months.
● PIPA Popular Vote Exhibition – Winner, elected by the viewers at PIPA’s exhibition, at MAM-Rio, will receive R$20,000.
● PIPA Online – An artist among the five most voted at PIPA’s website will be elected by PIPA Online’s Jury and receive R$10,000, plus a two month artistic residency program at Sacatar Institute.
● PIPA Online Popular – The most voted artist at PIPA’s website will receive R$5,000.
