The body of work presented shows the the similarities and differences in a dialogue developed between the five artists, in a project started in 2013. Sofia Pidwell and Nazareno have drawn directly over the exhibition space walls, configuring their practices into the room. Amélie Bouvier, Renato Leal and Paulo Climachauska have installed drawings, from different series, thus joining graphic forces and open contents of representation.
The five artists’ oeuvre estimulate the public to think in matters of perception as well as interpretation. They incite the visitors to think about the trailty of artistic creation, molding its generosity and consciousness of the precarious act, of human life and the work that will indeed go on, not just in historical records but also in the memory of those visiting the works.
