The intersections between the works of four artists in “Arthur, Janina, Marco e Pedro”

(Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

Jacaranda, located in Villa Aymoré, opens this Saturday, September 30th, the exhibition “Arthur, Janina, Marco e Pedro”, which draws approximations between the works of Arthur Chaves, PIPA Prize 2017 nominee, Janina McQuoid, Marco Veloso e Pedro França, nominated in 2016 and 2017.

Curated by Daniel Senise, member of the PIPA Prize 2010 Nominating Committee, the group show brings together four artists whose production has the process as an emphasis, rather than the final result. Their works are polyphonic and challenge the limits of language and media by proposing experiments with diverse materials and techniques.

In the closing day of the exhibition, September 15th, Jacaranda invites the public for an open talk with the artists and curator.
