PIPA Prize 2018 Nominees | 5th Bulletin

This is the fifth bulletin announcing the names of the artists who were nominated to participate in PIPA Prize 2018. There will be 15 bulletins in total throughout the five days of announcements.

We kindly request that all artists listed in this bulletin – particularly those who are being nominated for the first time – to please contact PIPA’s Coordination at: premiopipa@premiopipa.com

The following artists have been nominated to participate in PIPA Prize 2018:

  • Laura Andreato
  • Jonathas de Andrade (PIPA Prize nominee in 2010. PIPA Finalist in 2011)
  • Anna Costa e Silva
  • Daniel Escobar (PIPA Prize nominee in 2014)
  • Arjan Martins (PIPA Prize nominee in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2017)

We will publish all the names sent by the members of the Nominating Committee. Only the artists who fulfil the requirements sent by PIPA’s Coordination, within the established due date, will be considered Participating Artists and allowed to participate in the three categories of the Prize.

The bulletins will be published from Monday to Friday, only on PIPA’s websites, at 10am, 2pm and 6pm (GMT), in order to highlight every nominated artist.

The order in which the names are published are random and not indicative of classification.

On Friday, February 23rd, we will publish the complete list, with the 78 artists who were nominated to participate in the ninth edition of the Prize.
