PIPA PRIZE 2019 NOMINEES | 1ST BULLETIN

This is the first bulletin announcing the names of the artists who were nominated to participate in PIPA Prize 2019. There will be 15 bulletins in total throughout the five days of announcements.

We kindly request that all artists listed in this bulletin – particularly those who are being nominated for the first time – to please contact PIPA’s Coordination at premiopipa@premiopipa.com

The following artists have been nominated to participate in PIPA Prize 2019:

  • Ana Prata (PIPA Prize 2017 and 2018 nominee)
  • Bia Leite
  • Cabelo
  • Gê Orthof (PIPA 2010 nominee and PIPA 2011 and 2018 Nominating Committee member)
  • Ícaro Lira (PIPA 2015, 2016 and 2018 nominee)

We will publish all the names sent by the members of the Nominating Committee. Only the artists who fulfill the requirements sent by PIPA’s Coordination, within the established due date, will be considered Participating Artists and allowed to participate in the three categories of the Prize.

The bulletins will be published from Monday to Friday, only on PIPA’s websites, at 10 am, 2 pm and 6 pm (GMT), in order to highlight every nominated artist.

Two more bulletins will be published today.

The order in which the names are published are random and not indicative of classification.

On Friday, March 15th, we will publish the complete list, with the 76 artists who were nominated to participate in the tenth edition of the PIPA Prize.
