From April 25th to 28th, Art Brussels 2019 counts on high participation of Belgium galleries as well as international institutions from 32 countries. About 150 galleries (38 in discovery, 99 in prime and 13 in rediscovery as well as 23 solo presentations) will be placed at the building of Tour & Taxis, “in the heart of Brussels”.
Solely Mendes Wood Gallery will represent Brazil, with works from Daniel Steegmann Mangrané, 2014 PIPA finalist, Paulo Nazareth, 2016 PIPA winner, Sofia Borges, and other artists. The fair provides a mobile application with a guide to the public.
“This year for our 37th edition, Art Brussels continues to be pivotal to the development of the city’s dynamic art scene. As always, the fair will display expertly curated and high-quality booths with works from some of the most exciting artists and gallerists internationally. Through initiatives such as the new invited section, the fair demonstrates its ability to innovate in the rapidly evolving contemporary art market and art fair landscape”, says Anne Vierstraete, Managing Director of Art Brussels.
