Hyper times blends the past, present and future in one place

(Milan, Italy)

A video exhibition of different scenarios outlining definite gestures towards some kind of incessant motions of the present times. FutureDome presents Hypertimes – ten video artworks completed over the last three years, with the participation of an international group of artists such as Cinthia Marcelle, Clara Ianni, both Brazilian, Tobias Madison (Switzerland), Maya Watanabe (Peru), Mikkel Carl (Denmark) and others.

The exhibition´s works are composed of different narrative times presented at different times, each video will define a spatio-temporal passage where time changes relatively to a further temporal dimension, a hypertime: a dimension whose sole metaphysical function is to make change of times themselves possible. Hypertimes will show how passage of time consists of the fact that more of the world comes to be as time goes by.

The exhibition was drawn to create a video environment so it could put different times on the screen and see how they collide or how they resonate with one another, how the past tells a story within a present story. By merging past and present a dimension that is neither past nor present will be creation, a limbo that can embrace centuries without blinking an eye.
