(London, United Kingdom)
Multiple Brazilian artists will participate in Frieze London, one of the world’s most influential contemporary art fairs that takes place every October in Regent’s Park. It is one of the few fairs to focus only on contemporary art and living artists. Some of the Brazilian participating artists are Arjan Martins, Erika Verzutti, Laura Lima, Maria Nepomuceno, OPAVIVARÁ!, Paulo Nazareth, Rodrigo Torres, Sara Ramo, and Vivian Caccuri.
Frieze, as explained in their website, is a media and events company that comprises three publications (frieze magazine, Frieze Masters Magazine and Frieze Week), four international art fairs (Frieze London, Frieze LA, Frieze New York and Frieze Masters), a programme of courses and talks at Frieze Academy, and frieze.com, considered the definitive resource for contemporary art and culture. Frieze was founded in 1991, and Frieze London was established in 2003.
This year, the art fair will be open to the public from October 3rd through October 6, and there will be an invitation-only preview day, held tomorrown, October 2nd. As the website informs, every year, for the last five years, Frieze London has had over 60,000 visitors. Among the visitors are curators, artists, collectors, gallerists, critics, and the general public.
Concerning tickets, they are limited, so it is advised to buy in advance to save Money and to guarantee entry, specially at the weekend. Tickets can be bought online.
