(Espoo, Finland)
The media space of ‘Touch’ exhibition, at EMMA, which presents Saastamoinen Foundation Art Collection, in Finland, showcases ‘Faz que vai’ (Set to go), a video work by the artist duo Bárbara Wagner and Benjamin de Burca. The work is a four-part video essay, where different dancers interpret the Brazilian frevo dance.
Until May 17th, the group show presents a curated pick of Finnish and international contemporary works from the Art Collection. With the overarching theme of humanity at its core, the show delves into fundamental questions concerning the human condition and the nature of human existence. Curated by Pilvi Kalhama, Päivi Karttunen and Henna Paunu, the exhibition opened, for the first time, in 2014 and is re-curated at regular intervals.
