Produced by Matrioska Filmes, under the direction of Luís Gustavo Ferraz, this 2013 video accompanies for one afternoon the program “Encontros Multisensoriais”, promoted by the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro. In these meetings, multisensory experiments are promoted in exhibitions, collections and gardens with an audience that presents special needs. At each meeting, new paths of interaction, integrating visually impaired people and museum employees through expanded experiences of seeing and not seeing.
How do visually impaired people interact with the works and the museum’s own environment and surroundings? How does the experience of this audience help other people to see something new, where they thought they had already seen everything?
