“OVR: Miami Beach” starts next week with many participating Brazilian artists and galleries

Running December 4-6, 2020, with VIP Preview days from December 2-4, 2020, ‘OVR: Miami Beach‘ premieres as a new iteration of Art Basel’s Online Viewing Rooms that will feature 255 galleries from 30 countries and territories. It will be accompanied by a series of online conversations, gallery walk-throughs, and virtual events hosted by the galleries and partners.

As explained on Art Basel’s website, “OVR: Miami Beach’ is comprised of five distinct sectors: Galleries, featuring leading galleries presenting works by artists ranging from young talents to 20th-century masters; Edition, including exceptional prints and editioned works; Nova, featuring works created in the last three years; Positions, dedicated to emerging artists; and Survey, showcasing works created before 2000″.

Among the Brazilian participating galleries are A Gentil Carioca, Casa Triângulo, Mendes Wood DM, Galeria Nara Roesler, Galeria Luisa Strina and Vermelho. And among the Brazilian participating artists are Alex Cerveny, Ivan Grilo, Thiago Rocha Pitta, Eduardo Berliner, Mariana Palma, Sandra CintoClarissa Tossin, Marcius Galan and more.
