Alongside, Casa Triângulo presents “Scream”, with Juliana Cerqueira Leite, Lyz Parayzo, Manuela Ribadeneira, Mariana Palma, Marcia Xavier, Sandra Cinto and Vânia Mignone. A Gentil Carioca also participates in the online exhibition for Vortic with “Mirror”. Aleta Valente, Ana Linnemann, Laura Lima, Maria Laet, and Renata Lucas, show multiple realities, perspectives, and duplicated images, coexisting in their own poetic itinerary, who aggregate in the citation of their work by reflection.
The digital exhibition is available from March 8th, International Women’s day, to May 2nd at the Vortic Art platform. “Throughout the 20th century Latin America has been the birthplace of female artists who have achieved remarkable recognition internationally and whose legacy has persisted to the present day. Representing some of the leading female artists in Brazil has been our great privilege over the past 20 years. ‘At a certain distance’ brings together a selection of works reflecting the concerns and impulses that have driven some of these voices and revealing the fascinating stories behind these women”.
