FRAC Auvergne holds an extensive solo presentation of Marina Rheingantz’s work

(Clermont-Ferrand, France)

Until September 19th, Marina Rheingantz presents a solo show at the FRAC Auvergne, in Clermont-Ferrand, France. The exhibition, curated by the museum’s director, Jean-Charles Vergne, brings together 35 works by the artist, including paintings and embroideries from the last 5 years.

Check out bellow a quote by the curator about Marina’s work:

“What we see in Marina Rheingantz’s landscapes are not the landscapes themselves, but a singular gaze focused on the way she sees them with her memory, on the perusal of planes and patterns, aerial dives of horizonless extensions, agglomerates of light, dust, and microscopic ephemeral clouds, frozen in appearance and yet always on the move”.
