Do you want to know more works by PIPA 2021 Selected Artists? Are you curious to know what the artists have produced this year and what are the future projects of Castiel Vitorino, Denilson Baniwa, Ilê Sartuzi, Marcela Bonfim, and Ventura Profana? From September 13th to October 16th, the five artists will present – with one week for each – an original content here on the website and on the social networks of the PIPA Prize. Original videos were produced, photos of selected works, and some critical texts and interviews were shared, outlining the trajectory and relevance of each of the five selected for Brazilian contemporary art.
The idea of a virtual takeover arises to contemplate the trajectory of the artists nominated in 2021, with more recent careers, and to bring young artists closer to the Prize’s traditional audience around the world. Our platforms will be filled with content created and elaborated by the artists during the exhibition period.
