The launch of the PIPA Prize 2021 catalog on the last day of the exhibition

On the last day of PIPA Prize exhibitions at Paço Imperial, Rio de Janeiro, on November 21, 2021, the catalog for this 12th edition will be launched. We will distribute some free copies to the first visitors of this last day.

At the Terreiro gallery and in the museum’s central courtyard, the exhibition of the four PIPA Prize 2020 winners will be on display until the 21st, with Gê VianaMaxwell AlexandreRandolpho Lamonier and Renata Felinto. Also at the Terreiro gallery, the five Selected Artists of the PIPA 2021 are presented: Castiel VitorinoDenilson BaniwaIlê SartuziMarcela Bonfim and Ventura Profana.

In another gallery in the museum, called Praça dos Arcos, the PIPA Institute shows some works that it acquired and commissioned in recent years, signed by contemporary Brazilian artists who are part of the history of the PIPA Prize. There are works by Aleta ValenteAna Frango Elétrico, Ana Paula OliveiraAndré GriffoBarbara WagnerDaniel BeerstecherElias Maroso, Ibã Huni Kuin (Isaías Salles),  Jaider Esbell and Yukie Hori + Inês Bonduki.
