The new season of the PIPA Podcast is now available: “Art and psychoanalysis”.
After two seasons talking about different themes of contemporary arts, the PIPA Prize launches a special season with psychoanalysts, artists and psychiatrists about the intersections between arts and clinic. How do these two areas intertwine? How does art help us to think about identity issues?
In the first episode, Daisy Xavier, who graduated in psychology and psychoanalysis, talks about her works, in which she investigates alterities and the body in relation to the elements of nature. Xavier began his artistic training in the 1980s. He attended the School of Visual Arts – Parque Lage (1992) and History of Art with Paulo Sergio Duarte (2000). She has been dedicated between the studio and the clinic for some time.
