(Lisbon, Portugal)
On the 21st of July, the MOVART Gallery in Lisbon presents a new interpretation of the exhibition NÃO HÁ CURA, the group show that was opened in the Camões Institute in Luanda last year. The exhibition is now transported to another city, in another country and continent. Although in a different socio-political context, the exhibition brings together a set of works that reflect on universal issues. For this edition, the gallery invited Gabriela Noujaim to complete the sellection of artists. The opening is scheduled to 6pm to 9 pm. The exhibition will be opened until September 3rd.
Conversation and deconstruction are the starting points of this show that questions the imposition of spaces, curatorial guidelines and social conventions. A dialogue for now, with no end in sight, which proposes to rediscover and resignify the self, the body and the woman, seeking to relaunch and radically rethink the role of art. The exhibition, initially organized by Keyezua, has the participation of Alice Marcelino (Angola), Carlota Bóia Neto (Portugal), Daniela Vieitas (Portugal), Gabriela Noujaim (Brazil), Indira Grandê (Angola), Pamina Sebastião (Angola) and Sofia Yala (Angola) that will present unusual works between installation, performance, photography, video and collage.
