Do you want to know more works from the PIPA 2022 Awarded Artists? Are you curious to know what the artists produced this year and what are the future projects of Coletivo Coletores, Josi, UÝRA and Vitória Cribb? From October 3rd to 29th, the four artists will present – with one week each – original content here on the PIPA Prize website and on social networks. They produced exclusive videos, selected photos of works and shared some critical texts and interviews, outlining the trajectory and relevance of each of the four for Brazilian contemporary art.
The Takeover appears to contemplate the trajectory of the Awarded artists, who have more recent careers, and to bring young artists closer to the traditional audience of the Prize around the world. Our platforms will be filled with content created and elaborated by the artists in the same period in which the in-person exhibition takes place. The Takeover is a way of taking the Awarded Artists to the public that cannot visit the PIPA 2022 Exhibition at Paço Imperial, which is on display until October 29.
