Check out the artists qualified for the second round of PIPA Online 2024

PIPA Online remained optional for all participants in the edition, including the Awarded Artists. Among the 62 artists participating in the Prize this year, 50 decided to take part in the first round of PIPA Online 2024, which took place from July 1st to 7th. Of these 50, twenty artists reached 500 votes and are through to the second round:

We would like to congratulate all the artists who have qualified for the next phase, and thank everyone who took part in the first round.

The second round will be held from July 15 to 21. Voting will begin at midnight (00:00) next Monday and will end at 23:59 on Sunday the 21st.

In the second round, votes will be reset and it will no longer be necessary to vote for three artists for the vote to be validated: it will already be counted even if the user votes for only one artist.

A donation of R$5,000 will be made to each of the two artists with the most votes at the end of the second round. This virtual showcase, which seeks to be democratic and decentralized, is especially relevant for artists from outside the Rio-São Paulo area who are not represented by galleries: they find in voting a way to mobilize people and thus further publicize their work.

Please note: votes identified as coming from robot accounts will not be validated and will be excluded from the count.

How to vote

It’s simple: by clicking on the “vote” button on the chosen artist’s page, visitors must enter their email address, to which a verification code will be sent. After copying and pasting the code into the field in the voting window on the website, you will need to confirm a captcha (a simple security question) and then your vote is registered!
