Brasília, Brazil, 1989.
Lives and works between Brasília and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

PIPA Prize 2018 nominee.

Formed by the brothers Adriano and Fernando Guimarães, the art collective develops transdisciplinary projects that connect theater, performance, visual arts, literature, art theory, philosophy and other fields that arise from the questions that the works propose them. Willing to integrate multiple voices, the duo’s work invests in continuous projects in which the dialogue with the other – whether they are creators, researchers or visitors – is the guiding principle. The art collective has 20 years of work, of which 17 were dedicated to an investigative immersion in Samuel Beckett’s work. Based on light and breathing, two of the key elements in the Irish dramaturge oeuvre, the duo developed a mixed Beckett-inspired theatrical practice, formed by theatrical shows, exhibitions, installations, videos and performances.
