Bruno Rios holds a Master’s degree in Arts and Bachelor degree in Visual Arts by Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). The questions related to the body, the landscape the displacement, the play, and the draw are concepts tools used by him in an intent to open possibilities for the world’s interpretation and reconfiguration. In the last years, Bruno participates in group and solos exhibitions such as his solos exhibitions Chão de Passagem, in Mamacadela Cultural Space (Belo Horizonte, 2019), Jardins e Azimutes in Orlando Lemos Gallery (Nova Lima, 2016) and Corpo Tangente, in Palácio das Artes (Belo Horizonte, 2013). Also, he participates in artistic residences as FAAP (São Paulo, 2020), Fórum de Fotoperformance (Belo Horizonte, 2019), Muros: Territórios Compartilhados (Salvador, 2013), Programa de Residências Internacionais do JA.CA (Nova Lima, 2017) and Jardim do Hermes (Belo Horizonte, 2015). Bruno received prizes awards in Mostra EBA – UFMG (Belo Horizonte, 2011) and in the exhibition of the nominees to Prêmio EDP nas Artes at Tomie Ohtake Institute (São Paulo, 2014).
