Myopic visual artist, transvestigenere, SHE/HER, who researches hybridism in its various languages (video, object, drawing, painting, performance) with emphasis on clippings of childhood memories and spontaneous fabrications. She draws every day. Efe Godoy at the age of 7 received a hand reading that opened her eyes to realize that she would have an ongoing artistic trajectory, since then she knew she would draw her way out of her native Sete Lagoas/MG. Today she lives and works in Belo Horizonte. She attended the Guignard School UEMG and continues her education through residencies in Brazil and abroad. Some of these transformative experiences took place in recent years, such as Bolsa Pampulha 2015/2016, the artist residency at EAC-Montevideo_UY in 2018, residency Adelina _SP, 2018, and recently: HEMIENCUENTRO _ INSTITUTO HEMISPHERIC NY UNIVERSITY in Mexico City, 2019, and VERBO performance art show at Galeria Vermelho – SP. She won a Mabri award – small formats 2021 – and a SARP AWARD – ribeirão preto art salon in 2020. In a simple, she way tries to interfere in people’s lives through social networks with the reverberation of the word affection, @efegodoy.
