With a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil, Érica Storer is a visual artist and educator. Among the exhibitions in which she participated, the solo exhibitions “Prometo Falhar”, at the Boiler gallery, in Curitiba, Brazil, (2019), and “Como fazer um buraco em uma pedra com uma colher”, at the Paranaense Museum, in Curitiba, Brazil, stand out. The group exhibitions include the 7th EDP Arts Award, at Instituto Tomie Ohtake, São Paulo, Brazil, (2020), the Festival Camelo, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, (2022), the 30th MAJ Award, Sesc Ribeirão Preto and Consolação, São Paulo, Brazil (2022).

She also participated in performance festivals such as the Venice International Performance Art Week, Venice, Italy (2020), the FREE FEM RADICAL performance festival, Cologne, Germany (2019), the Curitiba International Biennial Performance Week (2018), the Cuerpas Festival, Chile (2018), and the SP-Arte performance program, in São Paulo (2017). Finally, she joined artistic residencies at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts in Besançon, France (2019), at URRA in Buenos Aires, Argentina (2023) and currently at FAAP, São Paulo (2023). Her poetic research transits between the tradition of long-term performance, video and installation, as a strategy to create fictions and constrain the agreements between neoliberal ethics and contemporary cognitive work.
