PIPA Prize 2022 nominee.

Born in Belém, Pará, Amazon. Brazil. In his artistic work, Henrique walks from a universe of experiences of Queer and LGBTQIA+ male bodies in Brazilian or contemporary society as a whole. Evidencing narratives of these experiences in a poetic, critical and political way, reflecting and presuming himself as a “deviant” or “inverted” man. Bringing reflections about gender roles, masculinity, sexuality, homo relationships, loneliness and pop culture. His work is multimedia and through different languages, from new media to traditional languages, such as drawing, performance, installation, site specific and text thought of as visual art. He participated in exhibitions in Brazil, the United States and Greece.
