Artist, researcher in art and photography, independent curator and professor at Universidade da Amazônia. PhD in Visual Arts At Escola de Comunicação e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo, ECA/USP. Curator of Diário Contemporâneo de Fotografia Award, Belém since 2010. He acted as visiting curator and Consulting of photography at Pinacoteca de São Paulo (2016-2017), where he curated the exihbition “Antilogias: o fotográfico na Pinacoteca”. As an artist, he took part in various exhibitions, such as “Triangular: arte deste século” – Casa Niemeyer – Brasília – DF (2019/2020), “Viagem à Aurora de Um Novo Mundo” – Galeria b_arco – SP (2020) “Feito poeira ao vento: fotografia na coleção MAR” (MAR, 2017-2018), “Pororoca, a Amazônia no MAR” (MAR, 2014), “Cidades invisíveis” – MASP – SP (2014), Bienal del Fin Del Mundo – Ushuaia – Argentina (2007), “Desindentidad” – IVAM –Valência, Spain (2006), IX Bienal de Habana (2006) among others. His work were acquired by important institutions, such as MAM-SP, MASP (Pirelli Colection), Museu do Estado do Pará, and others.
