Marina Caverzan graduated in Visual Arts at Faculdade Santa Marcelina (FASM), São Paulo, Brazil, and has an addition of Fashion Design and Astronomy to her academic formation. Through the gaze to several fields of human thought — like alchemy, esotericism, mathematics, physics, architecture and literature — united with elements of symbolic languages and research on astronomy’s presence and sacred rituals in different cultures, she creates hidden and symbolic spaces in her works. Uses formal geometry’s structures, unfolded in bi and tridimensional languages, where she questions notions of perspective and spatial orders, tensing through visual indexes a dimension between interior and exterior, public and secret.
