Graduate in Industrial Design by Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP) – São Paulo. Master’s student in Visual Poetics (PPGAV) at ECA-USP – São Paulo. Focused her research in History of Art and Design.

Currently, Ventura researches philosophies and constructive processes of pre-colonial architecture and crafts (African Continent – Amerindian Peoples – Vedic Philosophy). It uses this investigation for the elaboration of artistic practices generated from personal experiences. Her works talk about the feminine and raciality in narratives that seek to understand the psychosocial complexity of Afro-descendant women inserted in different contexts.

As a black woman intones her physical memories by frictioning ancestrality through personal stories and research. Making her body present, occupies socially restricted spaces with her artistic production.

Her artworks show her interest towards different cosmologies, specifically afro-amerindian, beyond the use of their objects, these are seen as symbols and rituals.
