I’m a multidisciplinary artist from Vitória, state of Espírito Santo, Brazil. Nowadays, I research convergences of materials, their technologies, and how memories change over time and space. I express these ideas through sculpture, screen printing, writing, and digital art. With iron and geometry, I idealize, design and execute pieces that fit together.

How the pieces are made allows me to make new interactions in the future, adding new elements like steel and other materials, even those that may exist in the future. The sculptures may change by fitting pieces from different times. My investigation begins in conversations with my grandmother. She told me that, when our neighborhood was occupied, people were always setting up and taking down shacks because the police kept trying to clear the area. To me, the process of building and unbuilding, assembling and disassembling, fitting and undocking parts are how families work, expanding their homes by the arrival of new members or by financial progress.

I studied Fine Arts at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) and Dramatic Art at the Technical School of Theater and Dance (FAFI). I participated in important exhibitions such as DOS BRASIS (São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), Encruzilhada das Artes Afro-Brasileira (São Paulo, and Belo Horizonte, Brazil), Nordeste Expandido (Recife and Fortaleza, Brazil), and the 33rd Program of Exhibitions at the Centro Cultural de São Paulo – CCSP (São Paulo, Brazil). I need to highlight the permanent exhibition of my monumental work “Movimento à Tecnologia” (Movement to Technology) in a public state park in Vila Velha, Brazil.
