Graduated in History, focusing on Oral History. Pablo researches and carries out documental works based on the use of image (photography and video) and sound. They are records of practices from the Afro-Maranhense universe, with an emphasis on religiosity/festivity. Acts collectively at the audiovisual production company BICHO D’ÁGUA FILMES, producing and mediating audiovisual content from peripheral approaches, prioritizing black narratives. Director of the films: Who passed first was São Benedito (2017), Princesa do meu Lugar (2020) and Banzeiro e Maresia (2023).
