Using languages such as drawing, video and sculpture his work is marked by forms that fluctuate between strangeness and familiarity and results in objects and images that suggest a shuffling exercise of the order of the world. His practice combines chance, temporality, processes of nature and culture with artisanal methods of production.

Has participated in exhibitions including “Dear Amazon: Anthropocene Project – Korea-Brazil Exchange Exhibition” (Seoul, South Korea, 2019); “In Memoriam” (Rio de Janeiro, 2017); “66º Salão Paranaense” (Curitiba, 2017);”60 Anos Museu + Residência” (Belo Horizonte, 2017); “Bolsa Pampulha 2015/2016” (Belo Horizonte, 2016); ”Some False Moves” (Nova York, USA, 2015); “Taipa Tapume” (São Paulo, 2014); “Batalhão de Telegrafistas” (São Paulo, 2014); “18th and 17th Contemporary Art Festival SESC Videobrasil” (SP, 2013 e 2011); “20 e poucos anos” (São Paulo, 2010); “Cologne KunstFilmBiennale” (Cologne, Germany, 2005); “15th Videobrasil International Electronic Art Festival” (São Paulo, 2005). Among his solo shows are “Experimentos com o acaso” (Paris, France, 2016), “Chão” (São Paulo, 2015); “Alexandre Brandão – II Mostra do Programa de Exposições – CCSP” (São Paulo, 2014), “Efeito sem causa” (São Paulo, 2013), “Quase sombra” (São Paulo, 2012) e “Entrebranco (Belo Horizonte, 2006). In 2010, he was awarded in the “5th Inter-American Video Art Biennial” (Washington DC, USA) and in 2014 won the “Artistic Residency Grant ICCo / SP-Arte” at Residency Unlimited in New York. In 2018, participated in Pivô Pesquisa residency program (São Paulo).
