André Luiz Santangelo Vianna has a degree in art from the Dulcina de Moraes College, Brasilia, in 1999. He attended the EAV/Parque Lage, Rio de Janeiro, between 1996 and 1998. With his attention turned to everyday life and urban spaces, video installations and photography are used as a way to reverberate the images he installs. He creates cycles that repeat themselves under the action of the observer, in a circularity of time and space.

Santangelo also works as an artwork finalizer, curator, producer and photographer since 2000, working for Funatura, the Federal District’s Secretary of Culture and the Ministry of Culture. In 2010, he exhibited “High From the Ground” at the Dragão do Mar in Fortaleza; Obranome in Goiânia, “Painting Pleasure” at Funarte; “Vento Vestia” at the Latin American House of Culture and Contemporary Art at the National Museum Collection; Brasilia Arquive at the Marco Antonio Vilaça TCU Cultural Space and “To the Winds that Come” at the Contemporary Cultural Space in Brasilia.

From 2011 to 2013, he worked as a social educator and exhibited “Notes on Capsizing” in Lisbon and Açores in Portugal. The artists had participated in various exhibitions at the National Museum, Galeria Ponto and Galeria Referência in Brasilia.
