Brazilian artists who mainly use drawing, video and photography in their work. Fernanda Figueiredo studied at the School of Architecture and Urbanism at Mackenzie University until 1998 and then graduated in Fine Arts at FAAP in 2002. She made several exhibitions such as the 34º Anual de Artes of FAAP, in 2002, the 1st Salão Aberto Paralelo at XXVI Bienal de São Paulo in 2004 and MARP Exhibition Programme in 2005 and 2007.
Since 2006, she began to work in duet with the filmmaker and artist Eduardo Mattos, graduated at the School of Cinema, FAAP, in 1999. Together, they held two solo exhibitions at Galeria Oeste in 2007 and 2008. Also participated as a duo of the 14th Salão da Bahia, held at The Museum of Modern Art in 2008. Their most recent exhibitions are the group show New Acquisitions 2007/ 2010 at The Museum of Modern Art – Rio de Janeiro in 2010, the group show Hermes, curated by Mario Gioia, held in February 2011, and Realidades at SESC Pinheiros also in February of this year. They have works in the Gilberto Chateaubriand Collection – Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro.
