Graduated in photography from CFP Bauer, in Milan. Among the artist’s solo shows, are: “The Final Cut”, Santa Catarina Art Museum, 2016; “Somatório dos Meios”, Lunara, 2014; “Modos de Permanência”, Gasômetro, 2011 and CUMA – São Paulo University, 2010. Recently held group shows: “Porque somos elas e eles”, Blau Projects; 7th Diário Contemporâneo Photography Prize, Casa das Onze Janelas, 2015; 18th Cerveira Biennial, 2015; MAR Collection Videos, Rio de Janeiro Art Museum, 2013; “Eu fui o que tu és e tu serás o que eu sou”, Paço das Artes, 2012; e “Contin[g]ente”, Arquipélago, 2009. Karina has taken part in three Arte Pará editions (28th, 30th e 32nd); the 60th April Hall, in Fortaleza; 12th Itajaí National Arts Hall; and the 43th Piracicaba Contemporary Arts Hall. Of the awards Karina has received, we highlight: 32nd Arte Pará (2013), 3rd Belvedere Contemporary Art Prize (2012), Mato Grosso do Sul Arts Hall(2012), Elisabete Anderle Prize, FCC (2009 / 2013).
