With creative time and space divided between Brazil and Portugal, Orlando Fraya is also Associate Professor of the Federal University of Espíritu Santo, in the final phase of a doctorate through the University of Lisbon. Since the 1980s, he has produced vast, significant and varied work, that goes from painting to video, from photography to installation. Orlando is a typical Neo-Impressionist of the eighties, convulsed in the self-referential seclusion of the studio; Now a digital flâneur through the Berlin Mitte. He is an experimental videomaker; Now a sticker, invading the Promenade Plantée, the surroundings of the Pompidou and the Veronese Room of The Louvre. More than a research, his artistic work is a pathos. His brand is the constant enchantment by the world, whose monad to be caught is the epiphany of colour-form. In the rhythm of this consecration, accumulates expositions in the cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Santiago, Berkeley CA., La Havana, Cardiff, Berlin, Paris and Lisbon among others.
